Everest Summit Lodge in Pangboche stands just off the main Everest Base Camp trail at roughly 3,980 metres, in one of the highest year-round Sherpa villages. The lodge is compact, with only a handful of rooms, so it feels quiet even when full. All guest rooms come with attached bathrooms and hot showers, which is a real upgrade at this height.
Large windows, a sunny terrace and a cosy lounge give clear views of Ama Dablam and, in places, Everest itself. Power is by electricity, so lighting and charging are straightforward when the supply is on. A small bar and dining room handle simple but well-prepared meals. For trekkers wanting one of the more comfortable options between Tengboche and Dingboche, this is usually the first choice.
