The Lhasa to Everest and Kailash Motorcycle Expedition is the most ambitious motorcycle pilgrimage in Asia — a 14-day, 3,800-kilometer expedition across the sacred heartland of Tibet on the legendary Ali South Route. This Lhasa to Everest and Kailash motorcycle expedition crosses the highest motorable terrain on the Tibetan Plateau, taking you past three sacred lakes, two of the holiest mountains in Asia, and some of the most remote archaeological sites in the world. The route is designed for experienced adventure motorcycle riders who want a journey that combines technical riding with deep spiritual and cultural meaning.

Begin in Lhasa with cultural acclimatization at the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Sera Monastery. Ride west via Yamdrok Lake and the Karola Glacier to Shigatse and Saga, where the formal Ali South Route begins. Cross the Mula La Pass at 5,216 meters to reach Lake Manasarovar and Mount Kailash.

Continue to the lost Guge Kingdom ruins and Lake Rakshastal before turning back east. Ride over Gyawu La Pass to the North Face of Everest. Conclude with a visit to Tashilhunpo Monastery in Shigatse, the Yarlung Tsangpo Valley, and Lake Namtso before returning to Lhasa.
