The Upper Mustang Luxury Lodge Tour is a 9-day private journey with five all-inclusive lodge nights beneath the Nilgiris, exploring Marpha, Kagbeni, Jharkot, and Lubra.
Upper Mustang Luxury Lodge Tour
This Upper Mustang luxury lodge tour is the most complete luxury program we operate in Nepal: nine private days built around five all-inclusive nights at a small contemporary lodge set beneath the 7,061-meter Nilgiri wall above Jomsom. It starts from US$ 19,500, and almost nothing sits outside that figure — every meal, every drink, every spa treatment, your dedicated guide, both restricted-area permits, and all flights within Nepal.
It suits travelers who want the trans-Himalayan world of Mustang — walled villages, Bon monasteries, apple orchards in a desert canyon — without the trekking logistics or overnight camping. Days are shaped as private excursions from a single base, so the trip suits honeymooners, families, and travelers in their seventies equally well. Walking is optional and adjustable every single day.
What makes our version different is what the lodge basis makes possible. You return each evening to a heated suite and a wellness program that includes consultations with an 11th-generation Amchi, a traditional Tibetan physician in residence.
Excursions run on your clock, not a group's: the Thakali kitchens of Marpha one day, the 800-year-old Bon village of Lubra the next, a picnic lunch carried to a ridge above the Kali Gandaki, the world's deepest gorge, whenever the mood says so.
The feeling is high-desert stillness with the edges sanded off. Wind in the buckthorn, butter tea in a village kitchen at 3,550 meters, the Nilgiris turning rose at dusk from a stone terrace. Trekkers who would rather earn Mustang on foot should look at our Upper Mustang luxury trek with helicopter return; travelers wanting the overland road journey deeper into the walled kingdom have our private Mustang overland journey. This page is the lodge version — one base, zero repacking.
